CityPoint Boys and Girls Scouts Volunteer Wanted

Men’s Ministry Meet Up for the NBA Finals

Hang out with the guys for Game 1 of the NBA Finals as we trash talk and get to know each other. We’re aiming to get 10-20 guys to come out, so feel free to invite friends to register as well. We’ll watch the game on the giant 300 inch LED video wall in the main auditorium. Wings, pizza, and drinks will be served. No babysitter? All good. Kiddos are allowed. Sign up here. 

CityPoint Celebrates Children’s Day June 9th

Next Sunday “Kids Takeover Sunday Service at CityPoint” will be happening! Our staff has been prepping the kiddos for a fun filled, “learn as you do environment” where the children of CityPoint will be taking over the positions of service from welcome, to worship to sermon and so much more. If you see any children or have a little one of your own, let them know you’re proud of their efforts and are excited for them to be a part of service next week! The Innovative Learners Summer Reading Program starts June 11th

Summertime is around the corner, but learning never stops. CityPoint member Gabby Gaiter, founder of The Innovative Learners is holding a Summer Reading program for middle schoolers from June 11th-27th. CityPoint Member Shoutout: Arionne Nettles, Honors Black Chicago with New Book “We Are the Culture”

Born and raised in the Englewood community on the South Side of Chicago, Arionne Nettles shares an unbreakable bond with the city she calls home. A multifaceted individual, she is a journalist, writer, lecturer, professor, poet, and a passionate admirer of all things Chicago. Driven by the belief that everyone deserves education and the opportunity to learn, Nettles entered the sphere of education, inspired by the values instilled by her family. This same philosophy motivated her to write her book, “We Are The Culture: Black Chicago’s Influence On Everything.” (story by The Chicago Defender 4.2.24) Purchase a copy of her book online at our fave Chicago Black owned Bookstore: Semicolon.
