The Brown Bag Ministry, founded by the Douglases, has been faithfully reaching out to those in need of food. Now, we’re expanding that mission with a new Food Pantry here at CityPoint to continue serving those who need it most. This month, we’re beginning to collect non-perishable food items to stock the pantry and provide for those who are hungry. That’s where you come in! We need your help to make this happen. We’ve put together a Food List with all the items we’re collecting, and for the rest of this month, we ask you to commit to bringing these items to help build up our Food Pantry. Let’s come together as a church to meet this need and show God’s love in action!

It’s that time again for our quarterly 21 Days of Fasting! Starting Sunday, March 30th, we will dedicate the next 21 days to prayer, with the theme “When We Pray…”. To help you prepare, we’ll be hosting a Pre-fast Orientation on Saturday, March 29th at 5 PM. This is an incredible opportunity to draw closer to God, strengthen your prayer life, and prepare your heart for all that God wants to do in your life. Don’t wait to sign up, do it today! We look forward to journeying through this powerful season together!

Along with the 21 Day Fast, we will be embarking on 21 Days of Economic Impact. With our theme of “community” this year, what better way to encourage and empower the wealth of our community than through intentional action. Throughout these 21 days, we will take part in a series of initiatives designed to strengthen our economic impact: Savings Sundays – We challenge you to allocate a portion of your income to savings each week; Buy Black Saturday – intentionally supporting Black-owned businesses; $50 Savings account – In partnership with NuMark Credit Union, we’ll be opening savings accounts for our youth; and On the 2nd Sunday in April, 10% of our offering will be dedicated to supporting a local elementary school. This starts next Sunday, March 30th.
